Ahmsa completes blast furnace and mining equipment maintenance
Mexican integrated steelmaker Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has concluded maintenance at its blast furnace number 5 and power plant 5, Kallanish learns from the company. Ahmsa also upgraded the main equipment at the Hercules mine at its Minosa unit. The open-pit mine is the steelmaker’s main source of iron ore.
