Ahmsa production losses mount on weather-induced stoppage
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) says both its steel and mining units have suffered serious impacts from the adverse winter weather conditions.
The company was forced to temporarily halt operations after Mexico was hit by a snowstorm on 15 February, which left the country`s electricity and gas supply chains interrupted in 11 states (see Kallanish passim).
