AISI praises committee passage of transportation funding bill
The American Iron and Steel Institute is cheering the preliminary passage of the Biden administration’s Surface Transportation Reauthorization Act of 2021, Kallanish reports.
The $303.5 billion measure has cleared the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. It will now go to the full Senate for a vote before traveling on to the US House of Representatives and ultimately to President Joe Biden for signing into law.
