Al Gharbia Pipe produces new size
Al Gharbia Pipe Company (AGPC) has produced its first 1,500mm diameter pipe. After carrying out internal modifications to the production line, the firm can now produce structural tubulars and piles up to 1,525mm outside diameter with maximum 45mm wall thickness, it says.
Earlier this year AGPC announced it plans to almost double its production capacity to 400,000 tonnes/year to cater for expected future oil projects in UAE and Saudi Arabia (see Kallansish passim).…
