ALBA and Baowu agree automotive recycling joint venture
Germany’s ALBA Group has become the senior partner in a recycling joint venture with China’s Baowu group, Kallanish learns from the Berlin-based company, parent of steel recycler Interseroh.
It has taken a 51% majority share in Shanghai Baosteel Auto Recycling Co., Ltd., one of the leading automotive recyclers in Shanghai. The balance remains with Shanghai Baosteel Iron & Steel Resources Co., Ltd., a Baowu group company.
