Altai-Koks stamp charging unit improves quality, reduces cost
NLMK Group coke-chemical enterprise Altai-Koks has begun hot testing of a coal stamp charging unit at its operational coke battery, the company says. This will boost coke quality, reduce the cost of its production and improve environmental footprint.
Investment in the project amounted to RUB 4.8 billion ($65 million), Kallanish notes. The testing phase will last until October.
