AMKR begins construction of new pellet plant
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) has started the construction of the planed iron ore pellet plant at Kryvyi Rih, say local authorities.
Investment in the project will exceed $250 million, with construction scheduled to be completed by end-2023 (see Kallanish passim). In September AMKR contracted China’s Sinosteel to supply the equipment for the project.
