AMKR decreases 2023 production, eyes increasing output

ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) decreased crude steel production in 2023 due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and low production capacity, Kallanish notes. Steel output was down 18.5% on-year to 1 million tonnes. Pig iron production decreased 7.2% to 1.5mt and rolled products output fell 19.2% to 900,000 tonnes.
