AMNS India contracts Danieli for Hazira water plant
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India has selected Italian technology supplier Danieli to set up a new water treatment plant at its Hazira steelworks in Gujarat, notes Kallanish. The unit is set to become operational by January 2026.
The water treatment plant will support a 5.5 million tonnes/year hot strip mill, with a flow rate of 60,000 cubic metres/hour, Danieli says. Danieli India will design, make and help it become operational.
