AMNS India’s June-quarter production, sales grow on-year
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) India’s June-quarter crude steel production grew 7.4% on-year to 1.79 million tonnes compared to 1.68mt produced a year ago. However, output was stable on-quarter, AMNS India informs in a press release seen by Kallanish.
According to the steel company, despite an 85-day Corex furnace shutdown, production grew on the back of higher production from the direct reduced iron route.
