Angang commissions scrap processing project
Angang Steel's scrap processing project reportedly has been completed and put into operation in Anshan city in Liaoning province on 4 September, Kallanish notes.
Project construction began in April this year. It has gantry shears, balers, steel grabs, lifting gear and other equipment, with the capacity to handle 500,000 tonnes/year of ferrous scrap.
