Aosen Steel trials blast furnace, wire rod lines
Aosen Steel in Hebei's Xinji City has put its new 1,580m³ blast furnace and two wire rod production lines into trial operation for a period of time, Kallanish notes.
The new BF was upgraded from a 610m³ BF. The project started in June 2019, and about 40% of the total planned investment of CNY 1.498 billion ($223 million) has been completed. The BF will now ramp up to its 1.37 million tonnes/year capacity.
