Aperam increases surcharges

French stainless steel producer Aperam is increasing October alloy surcharges for its austenitic range of flat stainless steels for Europe. 304 is the grade that is rising the most, by some €100/tonne ($105) on-month, while other grades are going up by an average of €40-50/t due to raw materials fluctuations, Kallanish notes.
