US architectural billings narrow their decline, inquiries up
April’s architectural billings in the US showed somewhat of an improving trend month-on-month in April, but higher interest rates are holding some projects back, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Billings for architectural firms in the US for April registered a score of 48.3 points on the AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index (ABI), up from the March reading of 43.6. Above the 50-point threshold is indicative of growth.
