ArcelorMittal Gent’s carbon capture facility becomes operational
ArcelorMittal says its new carbon capture facility in Ghent, Belgium has seen the first step towards full commercial operation this week.
The unit is the first of its kind in Europe, designed to capture carbon-rich waste gases from steelmaking and biologically convert them into advanced ethanol through LanzaTech’s bio-based process.
