ArcelorMittal Italia production continues despite fire
Production continues at ArcelorMittal Italia’s steelworks in Taranto despite a fire that occurred over the Easter holiday.
The company says there has been no disruption to the production cycle and no fatalities. “The workers managed safely, according to consolidated procedures, a reaction event during the casting phase in melt shop no.2,” ArcelorMittal says in a note sent to Kallanish.
