ArcelorMittal Pecém slab exports drop in November
Brazil’s ArcelorMittal Pecém (AMP) saw slab exports fall month-on-month in November 2023, Kallanish notes. Shipments were also weaker compared with the same period in 2022.
According to data issued by the local port authority, AMP’s November shipments abroad reached 223,071 tonnes, down by 62,187t, or 21.8%, on-month. This volume was 10.1% lower versus the 248,150t shipped a year earlier.
