Argentinian crude steel output decreased sequentially in February but remained higher on-year, Kallanish notes.
According to national steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), Argentinian crude steel output totalled 359,000 tonnes in February, down 18.8% or 83,000t on-month. This volume, however, was 16.7% more on-year. Two-month output reached 801,900t, a growth of 19.2% on-year.
