Argentina’s steel trade deficit narrows in Q1

Argentina saw its first-quarter finished steel trade deficit narrow both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year. During Q1, imports fell considerably, Kallanish notes. According to data from local steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA), entries in the period exceeded exports by 32,500 tonnes.
