Baogang targets output growth this year
China’s Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union (Baogang) targets output growth this year after reporting positive profits in 2023.
For 2024, the company sets its production guidance at 14.82 million tonnes of iron and 15.73mt of crude steel, Kallanish notes. The two figures post a yearly increase of 0.5% and 3.5% respectively compared with last year’s actual output.
