Baowu Group's Baosteel has put its new non-oriented silicon steel project into operation last Friday 24 March.
The project will provide 500,000 tonnes/year of high-grade non-oriented silicon steel products for new energy vehicle producers, Kallanish notes. This is also the world's first non-oriented silicon steel production line fully designed for the new energy vehicle industry, the steel mill said.
