Baosteel Desheng lowers stainless steel output
Baosteel Desheng plans to run only 50% of its production capacity for stainless steel in the next month. Its stainless steel output is currently about 80,000 tonnes/month, Kallanish notes.
The company says that due to limited logistics resources, the delayed resumption of work by end users and tight supply of raw materials, the company has reduced its output since January. It expects to see output in February fall by 50,000 tonnes versus that in January.
