Baosteel expects flats prices to stabilise in January
Major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has maintained offers for most its flat steel products in January due to low expectations for a demand resumption, Kallanish notes.
Flats quotations including for hot and cold rolled coil, plate, pickling, galvanized products have seen no changes, as well as electro-galvanized, galvalume products and non-oriented silicon steel.
