Baowu launches largest carbon neutral fund in China
China Baowu Group, the world’s largest steel producer, has signed an agreement to set up a carbon neutral fund, targeting a total investment of CNY 50 billion ($7.7 billion). The first phase would have an investment of CNY 10 billion, Kallanish reports.
The partners are National Green Development Fund Co., China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. and CCB Financial Asset Investment Co.
