Baowu takes steps to lower carbon emissions
Ma'anshan Iron & Steel (Magang) started to apply carbon management system on 27 March, the first part of the Baowu Group to do so. Baosteel Zhanjiang, also a subsidiary of Baowu, has meanwhile started to construct a mill targeting to produce flats with near-zero carbon emissions in Guangdong, China on 11 April, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, Kallanish notes.
