Baowu trials expanded Luohe Iron Mine
China’s Baowu Group has recently trialled work at the expanded Luohe Iron Mine, which is regarded as a key project of the company’s “Cornerstone Plan” for iron ore, Kallanish notes.
After nearly two years of preparations, Baowu subsidiary Magang Resources started construction on 11 December 2020 (see Kallanish passim). Total investment was CNY 792 million ($115m).
