Baowu’s HyCROF experiment targets 2,500cum blast furnaces
Baowu has started experimenting with hydrogen-enriched carbon cycle and oxygen (HyCROF) blast furnace technology on larger facilities, according to Sinosteel Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd.
Sinosteel Engineering & Technology is responsible for the experiment, which will gradually be carried out on all three 2500 cubic metre-blast furnaces of Bayi Iron and Steel in Xinjiang, Kallanish notes.
