Bekaert grows sales, foresees second-half China rebound

Trading in 2023 has started well across all business units but economic uncertainties remain, says wire producer Bekaert. The Belgium-headquartered firm’s sales grew 17% on-year in 2022 to €5.65 billion ($6 billion), supported by business mix improvements and passed-on wire rod price changes and other cost inflation.
