Belgian authorities order Liberty Liège liquidation, Liberty appeals

Belgian authorities have ordered the start of the liquidation process for Liberty Steel’s local rolling mills. The decision was taken despite the presentation by Liberty Steel of a restructuring plan for the units. A group of administrators will now be appointed to find a potential new buyer for the plants.
