Benelux scrap softens despite weak inflow
Scrap prices in the Benelux have declined slightly compared to last week despite ongoing supply issues.
Exporters’ dock prices were mostly at around €290/tonne ($289) delivered in Belgium and €300/t ($299) in the Netherlands on Monday, down €5-10/t from last week.
Weak flow of material, however, continues to be an issue, as exporters are struggling to source scrap even at €300/t.
