Bengang's unchanged offers defy market trend
Hebei Iron & Steel (Hegang), following major Chinese steelmakers Baosteel and Wugang, has lifted its September offers for flat products. Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang), however, only lifted cold rolled coil offers and kept stable its other flat products for September. Since Chinese steel spot prices have been increasing in recent days, most steelmakers are more confident, Kallanish notes.
