BHP announces additional provisions for Samarco accident
BHP Group will increase provisions by $3.2 billion (post-tax) in compensation for the impact caused by the Samarco accident, Kallanish learns from the company. As a result, the Fundão dam rupture support total increases to $6.5 billion as of the end of 2023.
