BHP Billiton invests in Chinese carbon capture project
BHP Billiton plans to provide AUD 9.5 million ($7m) to an environmental research project led by Peking University, Kallanish notes. This is intended to make breakthroughs in the use of carbon capture, use and storage technology (CCS) in the Chinese steel industry, the company said this week.
