Bhushan P&S commissions new blast furnace

India’s Bhushan Power & Steel (BPSL) began operating the No. 2 blast furnace at its plant in Orissa on 7 November, according to supplier Paul Wurth. Bhushan P&S has some 3.5 million tonnes/year of steelmaking and hot rolled coil capacity at its Orissa plant, Kallanish notes.
