Big lay-offs loom at Evraz Regina mill
Evraz North America plans to lay off 500 workers represented by the United Steelworkers at its tube division in Regina, Saskatchewan.
The indefinite lay-offs will take effect 17 December. This follows a previous round of lay-offs in November, Kallanish notes.
