BlueScope delivers record financial results
On Monday, Australian steelmaker BlueScope reported record breaking financial results for the fiscal year ending 30 June (FY22), on annual domestic sales of 2.512 million tonnes, which inched up by 1% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Annual sales revenue increased 48% from FY21 to AUD 18.99 billion ($13.38 billion), and underlying net profit after tax stood at AUD 2.7 billion, a surge of 132% on-year.
