BlueScope targets coating capacity expansion
BlueScope, Australia’s largest steel manufacturer, announced on Friday an AUD 415 million ($271m) expansion of metal coating capacity, approved by the firm’s board, Kallanish notes.
The total investment increased from prior expectations due to “further development in the scope of the project and general inflationary pressures”, the firm observes.
