BMI revises down 2024 coking coal prices
BMI is revising down its 2024 coking coal price forecast for Australian premium hard coking coal from an annual average of $300/tonne to $260/t, Kallanish notes.
The research house says in a note that this is due to the prices remaining under continued pressure in 2024 after a significant rally in the second half of 2023 driven by tight supply and strong demand.
