BMK overhauls rolling mill
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel's Beloretsk steelworks (BMK) completed the overhaul of rolling mill-150, the company says.
The mill produces high-quality wire rod from 100 different grades of steel and production capacity is 600,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. The upgrade amounted to RUB 70 million ($900,000). The overhaul is carried out annually.
