BMW adds CO2-reduced steel deals with US mills
BMW has inked more contracts for the supply of low-carbon steels with US mills Big River Steel and Steel Dynamics.
In the US and Mexico, about half of BMW Group’s flat steel requirements are supplied by the electric arc furnace steelmaking process, the carmaker notes.
