BMZ introduces new technology for bloom production
Byelorussian Steel Works (BMZ) is expanding its product line by introducing a technology for the production of continuously cast billet (bloom) from rail steel grades, says deputy head of the ESPC-2 Ilya Pivtsaev.
More than 26,000 tonnes of bloom have already been shipped to a client in Kazakhstan and this export will continue, Kallanish notes.
