Bolivia’s ESM plans to increase annual ore exports
Bolivia’s Empresa Siderúrgica del Mutún (ESM) says it will increase its iron ore exports year-on-year in 2024, according to a note issued by the National Mining and Energy Ministry seen by Kallanish.
“We exported almost 130,000 tonnes of premium quality raw material (Fe 65%) in 2023. This volume is lower than expected due to lower market conditions and high transport costs from the Mutún mine,” company president Jorge Alvarad…
