Brazilian court further extends deadline for Samarco agreement
The Brazilian Federal Court of Minas Gerais has extended for the second time the negotiation period for settlement of civil claims against Brazilian iron ore miner Samarco over the 2015 tailings dam failure. This is confirmed by Samarco shareholders Vale and BHPB in notices on their respective websites, monitored by Kallanish.
