Brazilian flat product sales to grow in August
Flat steel sales and purchases by Brazil’s distributors and service centres should continue rising month-on-month in August after growing in July, Kallanish notes. They are each set to increase by 5% on-month, according to a forecast by national steel distributors’ association Inda.
July sales totalled 344,000 tonnes. This was 18.4% more than in June and 19.4% higher compared to the volume of 288,000t sold in July 2019.
