EU-Mercosur agreement concerns Brazilian steelmakers
The Brazilian steel industry is showing mixed feelings over the preliminary free trade agreement between the regional trade area formed by Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay (Mercosur) and the European Union, Kallanish notes
The details of the agreement were sealed on 28 June following 20 years of negotiations and are set to be approved by the Mercosur, the 28 EU members and the European Parliament.
