Brazil June output falls, 2019 outlook revised down
Brazilian crude steel output decreased year-on-year in June. The country also saw its rolled steel production down, while only semi-finished products rose, Kallanish learns from data issued by local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB). Given the poor performance of the first half-year, IAB has revised down its expectations for the rest of 2019.
