Brazil’s CSN appoints new steel unit chief executive
Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) has appointed Alexandre Lyra the new chief executive for its steel unit, the company says in a statement seen by Kallanish. He replaces Milton Picinini, who continues at the company by “taking on new challenges”.
Lyra holds a metallurgical engineering degree from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia do Rio de Janeiro, as well as a PhD from the Technical University of Aachen in Germany.
