Brazil’s CSN implements new steel price increase
Brazil's Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) is increasing its steel prices for domestic end-users and distributors, Kallanish notes. New levels entered into force as from 1 December.
“We are raising the price of long products by 12%, while offers for flat and galvanized steel will go up by 10% and 7.5%, respectively,” CSN commercial director Luis Fernando Martinez told Brazilian media.
