Brazil flats sales seen rising further in September
Flat steel sales by Brazil’s distributors and service centres should continue growing month-on-month in September after increasing in August, Kallanish notes. These are set to increase by 8% on-month, according to a forecast by national steel distributors’ association Inda.
Sales in August totalled 373,800 tonnes. This was 8.7% more than in July and 33.5% higher compared to the volume of 279,900t sold in the same month in 2019.
