Brazil`s prosecutor recommends evacuation near CSN dam
The Prosecution office of Brazilian Minas Gerais state (MPMG) has recommended to the steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) the evacuation of two districts in the municipality of Congonhas, Kallanish learns from the authorities. The MPMG considers that nearly 2,500 residents form Cristo Rei and Residencial Gualter Monteiro neighbourhoods are at risk because of their proximity to CSN`s Casa de Pedra dam.
